I just made up my own grammar by using "offensi" for the plural of "offense" rather than "offenses." That doesn't sound obey-ish. Should I be punished?

This is not a serious offense.
However you did the right thing by coming to detention.
Though one might get the impression you are once again just trying to be punished.
