Today I received a voicemail message from someone here on tribe, someone whom I have never given my phone number to (nor would I ever), and someone who calls himself Michael.
I'm 100% NOT okay with this, and I promise I'm not playing this time. In fact, I'm fuckin' pissed. I have tried to *gently* make myself clear: I am not forming serious romantic or sexual relationships on tribe, and in fact am in a monogamous relationship with a beautiful girl who I love. Never are any of my flirtations to be taken seriously, and I wouldn't take anyone else's seriously either! And even if I did use tribe to hook up, I would have to give my EXPLICIT PERMISSION before I would want anyone to contact me on my phone. Anyone who thinks it is okay to look up someone's phone number without permisssion and then leave them creepy messages is very, very WRONG. Don't be mistaken.
I just thought everyone should know.

Re: What not to do:
Tue, September 20, 2005 - 11:36 PMno kidding. and there are plenty of us, who love lindsay, who will make damned sure you got that.
and i just have to add, men in their 50s shouldn't persue women in their twenties. fantasies are one thing, but actually praying on someone to prove your everlasting virility is down right exploitative. like that guy flamingo who tried for a year to lure me to some swinger party on the beach to take ecstasy with he and his aged lech friends. or larry, who showed up uninvited to the party at whit/dan/sarah and maryanne's house, and stood around watching me for hours. it's not just pathetic, it's mean and creepy. it makes me want to hide. it's completely predatory, and the kind of thing that easily oversteps the division between legal and illegal action. basically, don't stalk. it's as simple as that. -
